Christmas markets
The Montepulciano Christmas markets are a magical and evocative experience in the heart of Tuscany. Located in the beautiful medieval village, these markets generally take place from late November to early January, transforming the town into an enchanting Christmas village.
The markets are set up in the town's squares and medieval streets, creating a unique and charming atmosphere. The lights, decorations and Christmas music contribute to a particularly atmospheric experience.
The numerous stalls offer a wide range of handicrafts, Christmas decorations, toys, clothes and local gastronomic specialities. Here you can find original and unique gifts, handmade by local artisans.
In addition to handicraft products, the markets are famous for their culinary offerings. You can taste typical Tuscan dishes, Christmas sweets, and drink mulled wine to warm yourself during the cold winter days.
One of the highlights of the markets is the Father Christmas Castle, located in the Fortezza Medicea. This area dedicated to children offers activities, workshops and meetings with Father Christmas, making the visit an unforgettable experience for families.
